In the leadup to COP26, individual organisations and sectors are defining their roles in addressing the climate health emergency – considering the direct impact on public health and wellness, how can the NHS reduce its significant contribution to the UK’s carbon footprint?
To continue the conversations at the HSJ Sustainability Virtual Forum, we are delighted to bring you a monthly webinar series, culminating in a roundtable of sustainability leaders which will take place after COP26. Each webinar will bring together a panel of three to four senior healthcare leaders with strong sustainability involvement for one hour, featuring a live Q&A for all attendees.
The following webinars are scheduled to take place in the months (on the first Tuesday of every month, with the exception of the roundtable) following the virtual forum:
Webinar 1: 11:15 am – 12:15 pm, 6 July – The Journey to Net Zero – What is the first step?
Webinar 2: 11:15 am – 12:15 pm, 3 August – Tackling Scope 3: Collaborating across the system to address indirect carbon footprint contributors
Webinar 3: 11:15 am – 12:15 pm, 7 September – Leveraging digital to reduce emissions across patient pathways and report on improvements
